Yes, go with the brine link, and adjust the "other" flavors as needed.

Keep in mind you were using a CURE which will have nitrates in it. That's not required if you keep the brine below 40.
I hear ya Smokin', do you realize how much they get for that small bag of salt/spices that they sale as a brine mixture?

And Sonja thought I was crazy for buying the 25# bag of non-iodized table salt at RD.I told her that it had been in the ground for a few years, it wouldn't hurt being in my house for a few more. Smiler
