1. Why does the FEC Hopper lid have an auger shut off safety switch but the FEPG does not?
2. Why does the FEPG 500 come with tool hooks but the more expensive FEPG 1000 does not? Even a couple holes to put S-Hooks in would be nice.

1) that is a NSF requirement I believe... and the PG is not NSF rated

2) Part of the reason the 1000 is more expensive is because it's insulated, and I THINK it is a different grade of stainless. The 500 came out later so it has things incorporated that maybe weren't thought of when the 1000 was designed.
Here is what I did to solve that problem, they aren't in the pic but I have 4 S hooks on the handle:

Did you need a special drill bit for the SS?

I just used a regular bit, it took a little longer but it worked since it's just a pilot hole for the screw.
