Haven't seen anyone report about the design change of the chimney on the PG500. It is now against the bulkhead on the right of the grill. There is an 'L' shaped flange which covers it (it is held in place with 3 screws). The right-side shelf seems VERY functional now and perhaps more useful than with the prior design. I really like that the efforts to really trying to improve the grill.

Question is will it effect stability at low temps like 180-200? Will try it out on my 'low and slow' cooks.

I'm typing up an info sheet with Nordy's temp chart, suggested L/H settings for those temps, and reminders of cleaning/maintenance of the grill.
