Tom,
I'll be moving this to the Recipe Forum. Also, I'm going to use the UBB code called "list" to show how it can be used for recipes. Thanks for the submission, I'll have to try it. Not like I need any MORE Caffeine in my system. Smokin' |

For all,
Here is a way to use the UBB code to help make your posts a little "easier" to read. I've take the post above, from Stogie, to Tom to the forum, but modified with UBB code. Stogie's Coffee Mop for Brisket, a.k.a Bad Tasting TX Mop
Instructions Simmer 30 mins. Brisket Coffee Table Sauce
Stir and simmer about 45 mins,or till desired thickness. I use a stick blender in it,so I can use it in squirt bottles.Best if served at room temperature or warmed. Hope this helps,Tom. I'd have posted over at kcbs, but thought some cs folks might try it. --------------End of original post ------------- How did I do this? I added: for bold for italics [list
for list with [* for each item. There are links throughout the forum to UBB and how to use it. Just trying to educate all in how to use the new features of the forum. Hope you don't mind Tom/Stogie. Smokin' [This message has been edited by SmokinOkie (edited May 03, 2001).] |

Hey Smokin'!!
You really know how to do all that stuff!! Thanks for the hints! Now, Tom should get all the credit for this one. In a thread over at KCBS, we got to talking about Coffee mops and sauces, so Tom was kind enough to give us this one!! Thanks again Tom!! ![]() |

Thanks for the help Smokin'.I told you us ol' country boys weren't smart enough to fly one of these contraptions, but if it will help make better Q I'm willing to learn.

I'm always learning too, about "Q", and just trying to help.
You worry about posting recipes and if I....occassionally help with the formatting don't worry. You'll pick it up. Besides, it will look better when they copy your recipe to the PC for later use My next subject will be getting everyone to do 'signatures' Smokin' |

Stogie,I'll post this over here, since I made a couple of omissions in the clarity.Lea&Perrrins just means worcestershire sauce to Cajuns and Texans and I forget that they make other good products.A stick blender is an immersion blender...so that you can puree in the pot ,without having to go to a container style blender.I'm too lazy to wash one more tool,if I can help it.Either one works equally well.Sorry about that.
