Thanks, Richard.I hope all is well there.Weren't you employed by one of the electric utilities? My husband and I are are retired OGE and they have trucks and crews down in La.But they have been other places in other hurricanes (grin) My husband is a retired trouble shooter and is itching to help neighbors of friends of ours who have a house in Biloxi hardwire their wells into their house generators.

I have found Tabasco Soy at pretty much any Supermarket that I have shopped at. I think it is a relatively new product, so some stores may not have it yet.

Kathy, mobile,AL finally got power back on,Katrina sure messed the gulf coast up.everything west of here got it bad.Mobile had a lot of roof, power & tree damage.I work for a local natural gas, water,& sewer utility co.as far as shellfish it is real messed up down here right now.A couple of shrimp boats have gone out & dragging for shrimp have gotten their nets hung up on submerged objects in the water & ripped their nets.this does'nt sound good for now.more later

Well after I asked that question I thought it was a mighty selfish thing for me to ask with everything else that was going on..
I am glad the power is back on.I have worked a lot of storms and several tornadoes while I worked for 25 years at the electric company.

Speaking of Mojo seasoning, Konriko has a dry Mojo seasoning that is just outstanding. It's kind of hard to find, but Publix seems to be carrying more frequently. It's made in New Iberia LA, so I hope the old mill is still there. I just discovered this seasoning about a year ago, and now I'm hooked. Excellent on shrimp!!

do you mix the dry seasoning with oil or anything? It woudl be good dry-garlic and I woudl guess dried lemon peel and possibly some oregano? I love Publix. It is usually with the ethnic not the regular seasonings, if you are talking about the liquid mojo or sour orange.Didn't Konriko was made in La.

KathyE,
I mostly use it as a shake on, it's great on chicken too. I copied this link:
http://www.conradricemill.com/cgi-local/SoftCart.exe/on...index.html?E+scstore
Who knows if it will work, if it does'nt at least the first part of the address will. I would usually buy Goya brand liquid Mojo until I found this dry seasoning. I sometimes mix it with some olive oil, there is a recipe on the back of the container. I have found that just about anything this company makes is good. If you see it in the stores, pick it up and let me know how you liked it.
