That is the drip tray covered with foil. It drains any liquids down and to the right into a tray.

I am dying. Big Grin My mouth is watering so much I can't breath. You are not allowed to post anymore pictures of anything so dangerous to one's health.

I hope the folks appreciated what they got.

Did you use any wood? Also what temp did you cook it at? I have been scared to cook a prime rib due to the high cost

Those were cooked on an FEC 100 which uses nothing but wood to cook with.

If you check the find tab at top of page and input Prime Rib for all forums, you will get some excellent threads.

Prime Rib

Those on your FEC will be quite a bit different than those from the traditional Cookshacks.

Hope this helps a little.

Good Q 2 Ya,Tom.

Awesome bunch of meats there for sure. I usually do a lot of prime rib during the holidays (Christmas) but not so much any other time in my catering.

Can't wait to try some on my NEW FEC-100
