I tried this last eve for dinner. easy and good. I took large baker potatoes cut a hole in the center (length ways). best to use a pipe, I didn't have one so used a knife and twisted. I got a hole in the potatoe large enough for a sausage. I used Emeril's chicken&apple sausage. put it in the hole. covered in olive oil. put in my 09 225 for 4hrs 2oz.apple wood and eat. Not too bad! I sprinkled a little CS chicken rub on mine. My wife went plain. Smokin...try it when the mrs. is out of town.
