Hi Everyone,

Feeding 70 people
I have searched yeild and portions but need some help on the slaw and beans part.
Any and all comments are apreacated greatly.

Pulled Pork
3/4 pound servings = 52.5 pounds of cooked meat
From my past notes 100 lbs of raw pork butt should yeild about 60 pounds.

BBQ sauce
2 gallons

Slaw
1/2 cup servings
How many 1/2 cup servings per 12x20 3 inch deep pans , before adding the dressing

Beans
1/2 cup servings
How many 1/2 cup servings per 12x20 3 inch deep pans

Hamburger buns
4 packs of buns 24 buns to the pack.

Hi,
I don't know how many of the 70 people will be men,women,children. If you have women and children I don't think they will eat 12 oz. of meat.That much meat on a 4" bun will be about 3" thick. I would figure 4 oz. per sandwich and figure 10 percent extra.
As far as the slaw and beans, you could take a 1/2 cup and fill it with water and fill a pan with it to see about how many portions it will take to fill it. I hope this helps.

I don't know how many pans it would take, but for 80 folks I do 5 gallons of beans and 20 pounds of cabbage for slaw.

I cooked 10 pounds of beans, Beans filled up two 12x20 pans
Slaw 26 pounds of cabbage plus carrots filled up four 12x20 pans
Ran out of time and couldnt count how manny 1/2 cup servings.
