I am cooking a 5 lb flat with a 7 lb butt tonight. I can't remember "who's on top" I am thinking the butt on top, but am not confident w/my decision. Thanks in advance for your help.

Your butt will be fattier than the flat, so use the butt as a "baste" for the brisket.
