I'm doing my first smoked pulling pork Shoulder and ham bone in can any one help with good Recipe/time and temp/wood.

Each of those is a pretty broad topic.

And please don't tell me the first time you're doing this is for a Big Easter Party? BAD time to experiment on the family.

Shoulder or Pork Butt? There is a big difference. Most of the time it's a Shoulder Butt (which is a butt). There is a PB 101 at the top of the Open Forum.

Ham, is it fresh or cooked? Lots of ham threads in this forum, try a search, since it will depend on the type of ham and what you want to do.

Thank Smokin Okie for the link. the pulled pork Shoulder and ham turn out great Shoulder took about 14 HOUR Cooked at 225 until temp reached 185.
