I'm doing my first smoked pulling pork Shoulder and ham bone in can any one help with good Recipe/time and temp/wood.

Each of those is a pretty broad topic.
And please don't tell me the first time you're doing this is for a Big Easter Party? BAD time to experiment on the family. Shoulder or Pork Butt? There is a big difference. Most of the time it's a Shoulder Butt (which is a butt). There is a PB 101 at the top of the Open Forum. Ham, is it fresh or cooked? Lots of ham threads in this forum, try a search, since it will depend on the type of ham and what you want to do. |

Thank Smokin Okie for the link. the pulled pork Shoulder and ham turn out great Shoulder took about 14 HOUR Cooked at 225 until temp reached 185.
