So what I'm wondering is after smoking and let's say you used an injection. Once it's pulled apart and put in a crock pot or roaster does and one put In a lil injection to add a little extra flavor or moisture? Any reason why you shouldn't? I'm got some smoke on wheels pork in particular. Making enough for 25 people this weekend so I don't wanna over do it on flavor profiles.
Thanks

Probably the number one lesson (among a few 100) is to taste it first. I lot of injection & rub flavor will cook out. Taste it to see if you want to add more flavor or not. Don't just blindly plan to add, let your taste guide you.

When I do PB, a good suggestion is to grind up some rub until it's a dust and sprinkle it on just before service. Not in the crock pot but on the sandwich or platter. If you need to add flavor just sprinkle on some rub, mix it up and taste again.
