On Wednesday, March 1, we celebrate 5 years of the Cookshack Barbecue Forum. During that time lots of great folks have gathered here to share their barbecue experiences, and we have all become better cooks because of it. Thanks to the participation of members and our fearless leader, Smokin' Okie, the forum has become the largest and, we think, the best barbecue forum online.

We will be celebrating from Monday, February 27 thru next Friday, March 3. We will be giving away some Cookshack "stuff", including a Cookshack Model SM008 Smokette (March 3) and free tuition and accommodations to the next Fast Eddy's Cooking Class (March 2).

Here's how it works. We will randomly select names from the pool of active forum members. That is, members who have posted 10 or more times between September 1, 2005 to today at 2pm. (Aren't you glad you have been participating?)

We will announce your name on the forum, and you have 24 hours to claim your prize by submitting a brief message to h_chavez@cookshack.com. Tell us why you like the forum, or send us a recipe. Be sure to include your mailing address and phone number so that we can send your prize to you!

Prizes unclaimed after 24 hours will be forfeited and we will draw another name.

As usual, the comments and/or recipes that you send become the property of Cookshack.
