About a month ago I was crusing through the forum and ran across an artical that had a thread to a on-line cooking cource to become a pit master. can any one help me find that? It would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Not sure what you mean by a cooking source to become a pit master.

There are a few classes offered by different people (Fast Eddy, Dr BBQ, Texas Rib Rangers) that teach competition cooking.

I don't trust anyone who's going to teach me how to be a pit master...it takes practice.

For knowhow, you can get a lot of it free here at the forum. Just pick a topic and start asking questions, reading the archives and go from there.

Do you smoke now, or are you wanting to learn from scratch?

I think I've seen them advertise in the Nat. BBQ News,and they even give you a certificate.

Kinda like becoming a preacher by mail?
