Hi Tom,

If you get this, who all was there at the show in Orlando over the weekend? I saw mention on another post about cooking some brisket, did they have anything new to share with us in terms of products or commercial info?

Sure wish I could have made it but wound up having to work all weekend (next weekend too).

Regards,
Preston D

The show and all the cooking competitions were very interesting.

Of course, every prepared food offered to restaurants was there to be sampled.

All the adult beverages were offered, but naturally our crowd didn't partake.

John and Terry were there from Ponca City and did a great job hosting us.

They cooked ribs and brisket for the crowd and it was great.

They had the new brisket rub,and we all liked it.

drbbq joined Craig, his wife,Barbara and me.

The FEC 750 was there for demo and purchased by a guy from Ft Pierce.

John shared a way that they have restaurants, caterers, and vendors do briskets and keeps them very moist.

Remember, Grant is the weekend after this,if you can get away a few hours.

I might be able to make that, although they are keeping me dang busy at work (60-70 hours a week). Are you cooking or judging at Grant, seems like I have seen you post alot about cooking?

Maybe I can swing it, possibly on Saturday but you guys will be busy, maybe I can visit after turn in and judging?

Regards,
Preston D
