I've just come into more pecan than I could use in ten years of cooking. If anyone is interested in trying some, I'd be happy to send them a few slabs that should make several batches each.

I sent you my address by e-mail. Thanks for offering up the wood. Its hard to get pecan in Germany. Apple, cherry and plum are easy to find. Let me know if you want some purple plum and I can send you some. I've been wanting to try pecan. My wife wants to make a salmon in the smoker and that would be a nice mild wood for it.

Hook - I would love to trade you some pecan for some sweet apple or cherry. I have a good supply of those. Both are well cured.
