Hey Yall, I am heading to Fort Worth this weekend. I will be there all of next week. Anyone have a recommendation for BBQ while I am there.

Also, I will be going through Memphis and Little Rock. I should be spending the night around one of these two (probably Little Rock)on Saturday. Any recommendations.

In Little Rock, go see Papashaka, he hangs out in this forum a lot when he's not busy winning People's choice at Memphis in May.

For Memphis read the report and look through the Open Forum, there's a recent post on Memphis Q.

As far as Fort Worth, since you're doing Q everywhere else, I think Angelo's is still there. But one of the best burgers you'll ever have is in a place called Kincaid's Grocery. Went there about a year ago and hadn't changed from when I lived in Cowtown in 1979. Little hole in the wall place, NOTHING fancy, great place for lunch.

I had a great steak there a few years back at Del Frisco's. It was amazing. The only better I've had is at Peter Luger's in Brooklyn.

Angelo's would always be the first stop in Ft. Worth,although in an emergency-if you can fight through the yups-a Railhead location could be passable.

Say hello to the scruffy old bear at Angelo's and have a cold one for me.
