Howdy, all...

Just wanted to extend another thanks to Karen and Tom for their hospitality at the International Sportman's Expo here in Salt Lake last week.

It was really a pleasure meeting you both, and I hope you had a good show! Thanks for the opportunity to hang out with you!

Always fun meeting folks in person (like talking to us on the internet doesn't count, but hey, we are real)

Wasn't Tom from the forum, so not sure who went. Was it John Shiflet?

Ditto Joe's remarks.

It was indeed a pleasure to meet the folks from CS. As Karen said, "now we can put names with faces and it makes our relationship that much closer."

Picturing people on the forum is fun too, Smokin. Now let's see: I figure you're about 6'2", and look just like Burt Reynolds (or perhaps, Reynolds looks just like you.) Right? Big Grin

Smokin, it was Tom Rennie at the show. I don't know if you've met him but he helps us out with residential shows sometimes -very helpful guy!

Hook & Joe, I am glad you made it to the show! I'll pass along your kind comments to Karen & Tom.

Hook, when were you there? I was there until about 3:30 or so on Thursday...

We must have just missed each other. I was there somewhere around 3:45 on Thursday too.

I was really looking forward to seeing the Amerique. As you know it wasn't there, but I ordered one anyway. Know anyone who'd like to buy a gently used 50 with the all the trimmings? I've also got a BBQ Guru temp controller for it.

Post them in the Open Forum and see if you get any takers.

For the BBQ Guru, if no one responds here, go to BBQSearch and they have a buy/sell/trade site there for BBQ stuff
