I got a couple pounds of bologna to smoke and since it's the only thing I'm going to smoke tonight, should I put some foil underneath it to slow the process? Or should it go straight on the rack? OR does it matter if that's all I'm doing?

If that's all you're doing, no foil, just smoke it.
