Hello all, I/we are planning our wedding for this summer(more than likely) I want to do traditional Q food ie. Pulled pork, bbq chicken quarters, slaw, beans, and possibly some kind of appetizers. We are going to do 95% ourselves with the help of friends and family serving. I know there are traditional ways to set up a buffet line to minimize costs. Butt how do I figure on quantity I did a couple of searches but didnt find anything I was looking for It will be about 200 people. Any help or guidance or ideas would be greatly appreciated. I seen a post from someone here about this kind of thing just couldnt locate it.

Look through the Pros section, there are discussions similar and they'll hit on topics you need to know, how to control costs, keeping things hot, etc.

That will get you started. Then let us know what questions you have.

Thanks so much, as usual you come to the rescue. More than enough to get me going. I had to run out to Sams to get some Baby Backs. Going to try the BRITU on my offset. I'll take pics and post. Big Grin Thanks again, Bubba

My thoughts exactly Tom! Big Grin You guys are great, You make it tooo easy! I love the forum I cook all my Q on an offset at the present time. Even so, all the lessons on the forum are priceless. I have been doing my homework, undecided on which model CS to purchase, but its around the corner. I imagine I'll wait on the Fathers Day specials. Thanks again Cool ...Bubba
