A couple of photo's from last weekends cook. 6.5lb choice flat from Costco, $2.39 a pound. Took to 179, foiled and went to exactly 190 with my wireless Maverick. Very juicy, one of my best tasting yet.

Thanks Cookshack!

Rubbed it with Head Country. Love that stuff. Just ran out, time to buy more. Has anyone tried the Cookshack brisket rub yet?

I tried the brisket rub last weekend. MMMMMMMM...I went down to Cookshack last friday and bought
another smoker, I tried to talk them into throwing in a free sample of the rub, but no go.
Best 5 bucks I ever spent. Im going in next week for the 5 pound jar!!!!
I also got to check out the new "AmeriQue Smoker"!!! Wow!!! This smoker is amazing!!!

It's a fairly rich rub, but very tasty. Keeps me from mixing multiple spices. Definitely worth the price. Make sure you try their BBQ sauce (hot) if you order. It's awesome.
