Anyone have any experience cooking a 7 or 8 rib prime rib of this size and how many could you put on the smoker at one time. A local church has asked for my help.

I would personally cut the roast in half and cook the two halves. Much easier, IMO, to control the doneness of the roast.

Hey Dan! Our paths cross again!! I did a 17lb last x-mas,I too cut mine in half, and always will. Used the Herb Crusted recipe, from the weber bullet web site.

By the way, the FEC is back!!!!

I'd cut it in 1/2 also.
