Photobucket Changes

I was notified by photo bucket of changes that will effect my 3rd party hosting. Which, I think means, all the photobucket links I've posted on this forum will no longer be valid. I'm trying to see if I get a paid subscription if this would help. Anyone in the same boat or have any thoughts? Here's he link. http://blog.photobucket.com/pl...changes-photobucket/

Yep, Photobucket F'ed up the Internet about a month ago. From what I've gathered, if you have a paid account, you'll be good until the end of 2018. If you had a free account, you're screwed, they want $500/yr. They have really messed up a lot of forums on the Internet. Almost everyone I know is switching to other hosting sites. A lot of people on another forum I'm on seem to have settled on either Imgur or Flickr. I've downloaded all my pics from Photobucket and have updated a number of threads I've started.

What a bummer! I finally got comfortable using photobucket (with help from AndyJ early on) and now I have to figure out a new system. Sheesh.
