Welcome to the Forum Garrison. There is no single best way to cook that. But check under Poultry Archives....second page.... lots of help under "turkey breasts".

I like to rub them with mayo & CD Chicken Rub. Cook at 225* with 1 oz of apply to ain internal temp of 160*.

As soon as I get done one, it is gone and I have to cook another!

I don't know about a best,but I brine overnight,rub under skin,cover with vinegar or butter soaked cheesecloth, couple oz fruitwood,cook at 250to 160internal.

Foil and let stand at least 30 mins.

I'm like Tom, I brine and do it just like he said.

Did a search on "turkey breast" in "all open forums" and got 101 results. Some interesting reading and variations. Some don't brine, some inject. Different methods all around.

I'm about to cook my first breasts also. I've read a bunch of posts and see that some flip the birds half-way through and some don't. What are the pros and cons of this??? Thanks!

Kully,

The "flip" is usually mentioned for a whole bird. Since you're cooking a breast only, you don't need to flip unless you want to. You can flip if you want to, just for even smoking, some do, some don't.
