I've been using them with my 009 for almost 2 years now and I like them.

As CT said, you just cut your rib racks in half when you hang them. Move your top cooking rack to it's highest position.


I've done 3 racks of ribs this way, but I'm reasonably sure you could fit 4 in there.

I think they come out much better than lying them flat, or using rib racks, which I've done both.
I have had up to 10 hooks in my 008. I put the 2 side racks in the highest position to maximize vertical space, and put the racks/ribs in so they do not touch each other, and will also not touch the smoke box. I also try to alternate hooks/ribs, left and right. It can be a little tricky with 10 hooks, but it can be done, and it's worth the effort. Insert the large end of the hook into the ribs, short end to the rsck.
