Candy 's smoke stix work! I just loaded 16 butts on my FEC100 and started a whole stick smoldering and several passerby's by my BBQ joint called the local fire department to report my bbq place on fire. When I got there the controller said it was smoking at 250 degreeas which was perfect except for the fire truck and 3 police cars at my place at 10:30 pm. What a night!

I don't think they are for application in an FEC. That would bypass the auger and metered pellet feed. Or am I missing something? Are you standing it up in the fire pot or are you using it for additional smoke laying over the pot?

Opps!,

Candy's sight said something about breaking off 1" pieces and use that way. If I read it right you get 5 or 6 smokes out of a stick, oh well....LOL!

We break of a chunk and put it in a 1 cup-stainless steel measureing cup. Then sit it on the edge of the fire pot. No extra ash in the pot and the handle is nice to empty. Target or Wally world have the cups pretty cheap.
