Mr Maurin, I was wondering if there is any way for me to hook up a laptop computer and change the verbage on the readout screen from current wording to something else.
For example"
From "Oven Temp" to "BBQ Temp" or even "Pit Temp" or "Actual Temp".
I know it all means the same but I hate the word oven in there......seems to take away from the thought of true bbq if that makes any sense.

Sorry but there isn't any way to change the readout on the display. I have never thought about the term oven being a problem, but I understand what you are saying. Hope you enjoying cooking on the unit.

Thanks.....its not a big deal but I thought if I could change it through the use of a laptop I would but yeah, no biggie.

Yes, I love cooking on it and the ease of cleaning and general operation of the unit is great so far.......jeezus, no mess, no dirty cooking area no nothing, plug it in, load it with pellets, season the meat, put it in and set the parameters and away you go......
