I SURELY HOPE ALL I HAVE READ ABOUT PELLET SMOKERS ARE TRUE AS I SOLD MY CTO ALSO SOLD MY GRAVITY FEED VICKING AND WENT WITH WHAT I HAD READ. HOPE I GET MORE MOISTURE AND WORRY FREE COOKING.NEVER HAD ANY Q COOKED ON PELLETS AND HOPE I AM NOT DISAPPOINTED AS I DONT THINK MY WIFE WILL LET ME BUY ANOTHER SMOKER AS I HAVE TRIED ABOUT 30 DIFFERANT ONE OVER THE YEARS.ALWAYS HUNTING THE VERY BEST BECAUSE I WANT THE BEST Q IN THE WORLD.

Mine has been great. It puts out great BBQ.

But the FEC500 is a very big investment. Why didn't you try out the bbq from one before buying one?

Did you get a FEC500 or a PG500?? Either way congratulations.

A PG is more home style and a FEC 500 is commercial

Yeah, and about $14,500 difference in price. Either way as jj said congratulations! Cookshack makes the best! I love both of my Cookshack smokers.

GOT MY FEC 500 AND THINK I MADE A GOOD CHOICE.DID CHICKEN ONE DAY AND RIBS THE NEXT BOTH WERE WHAT I WAS HOPING THEY WOULD BE. I DO BENEFITS HERE IN MY TOWN AND SOME TIME I NEED TO COOK A LOTS OF MEAT.I AM GETTING UP IN AGE AND WANT THE EASIEST MACHINE I CAN FIND AND I THINK I JUST FOUND IT.
