Temp issues | Cookshack

I have had my FEC100 for several years. Not the newer type of controller for sure. I am using it for the first time this year and the temp is going way too high. Set it on 180 or the next notch up and its reading 350+.

Turned it off and back on. The temp is showing fluctuation with the door open and such. If I close the door it just keeps climbing. I have 50 lbs of feather bones to cook up today for my son's grad party. Any advice would be appreciated.

The issue seems to have corrected itself. I may have been fearing Murphy on this one and jumped the gun on my cry for help. Maybe I put too many starter pellets in the burner and they were just burning off longer than I thought they should. All's well anyway.
