Just purchased fec 120 and have questions

From every thread I Have read you need a dedicated hood and fan. And it would not be safe to operate your gear until the City Health Department has cleared it. These was another thread just the other day. Look around a little. Being it is the Holidays it might be Monday before you get an answer. Of course your smart move would be to call Cookshack service, they are really friendly and helpful.

Just got mine also. On page 7 of the owner's manual, there are directions on how to vent and the use of a flue. It also still directs you to check with local code.

I am installing it in my pole building. I live so far out in the country that I can't find my place half the time. Lol
Really not worried about codes, there arn't any that I know of. Way invite trouble. No one will ever see it.
I am installing it to code just not getting the township involved. All I want to be is safe so I do not have a fire.

While poking around, I notice there is a thread with pictures of people's set up. Several are set up with flues. If I knew how to insert the thread, I would but should be easy to find if searching for it.
