Hey guys,

I just ordered a new gasket for my FEC-100. I had for the second time in ~5+ years a high temp situation where the smoker shut-down. I think this was caused by not vacuuming out inbetween the fire-pot for years. Everything is fine now, BUT the gasket bulged pretty badly, and the unit is 7 years old anyways so figured I'd replace the gasket.

Anything I should be concerned about as I replace it? I didn't see any videos on the FEC-100 so I'm guessing you just slide out the old and stick the new one in.... I did see one could order the metal retainers, but I'm not even sure where those are unless I see them once I pull the gasket out completely.

Thanks!
