Judging and Competition Cooking Class

Haven't been to either (in Ponca anyway) but know folks who have. All have been very happy.

If you plan on cooking KCBS contests, consider also a KCBS judging class.

MaxQ, I did sign of for the Dec. 6 certified Judging Class. I figured I'd learn the system on Dec. 6 and then Fast Eddy and David can show me what perfection is in the Competition Class on Dec. 7.

I attended one 5 years ago...I wanted to see and use an FEC 300-500. they had an FEC 300 that day. from what I learned and using the 300, I decided to buy a FEC500 for my new Q-joint....no regrets...learned a lot....

We did both classes a couple of years ago. The CBJ class was a refresher, but very good. David and Eddy did an excellent job on the cooking class. It is worth every penny!

I'll be there helping out... It'll be a fun class.

The class that Dave and Eddy do is great!

We attended last year and competed this year in five contests using what we learned. Got our names called in three of the five and one of those was a 2nd place.

Definitely worth the time and money!

WOW, it looks like I'm having an early Christmas with all the top cooks in the BBQ world showing up for the Judging Class. I'm really looking forward to the Competition Class the next day to learn all the secrets.

I thought about scalping my ticket but I really want to see you guys working together.

Bring a coat and drive safely... Weather could be rough Friday... Will be cold for sure... who knows what the precip situation will end up being...

Was there this summer, great learning experience and met some excellent people, which now are friends.

Made it to Ponca City after my drive from Iowa. Dry roads but it's as cold here as Iowa.
Headed to local GM dealer for dash light. Oil sending unit. FEC doesn't have an oil sending unit does it?

Class was very professional and very informative. My compliments to all that had a part in organizing the event.
For the price, this is probably the best value on the market today for a competition cooking class - irrespective of whether you have a Cookshack product or not. (But for the record, I have purchased multiple Cookshack products over the last 20 years).

Only wish I lived a little farther away, so that the teachers would not continue to "school me" at every contest I enter.
