That's just crazy trying to cater 800 folks and cook back to back competitions.
I bet RibDog wouldn't do something like this,right...wouldn't you at least take one comp off?
I caught the interview of Rod at the Jack on this livebbq feed that Thom helped make possible. He seems to always have time to help those that love to talk Que and you can tell the smile is genuine.

Maybe in my younger days, Cal. But I did help Rod & Sheri with the 800 person cater at the Royal. Was helping with cutting of the ribs and burnt ends for it. They sure whooped me on that one. And I only worked for like three hours!

He is right. I did the tasting for him at the Plant City, FL contest last year and I'm proud to say he took GC at that one.
