Operation BBQ Relief doing what they always do, feeding the victims and first responders. Day two in Colombia SC and they've already served about 6000 meals. If anyone would care to donate, 100% of your tax deductible donation goes towards disaster recovery operations.

Come on! Let's hear it for these people! I'm hoping that if there is a catastrophe like a hurricane, tornado, earthquake, flood or major fire, you guys (and gals) will be among the first to volunteer in my community to smoke/cook to feed those of us who don't have that capability.

In addition to the accolades you should be bestowing to these folks, you should be donating real dollars so that they have the wherewithal to come to your neighborhood when the time comes. And the time will come.
Yep, Smokin Okie and Cookshack helped out during the Moore OK tornado in 2013. OBR's biggest deployment to date, even bigger than the initial deployment to Joplin MO where OBR started.

OBR passed another milestone in this last deployment. They served their 600.000th meal in Summerville SC. Less than 4 1/2 years since they started.
