like Don mentions, charcoal and chips in the qood box is an easy way to get smoke w/o too much heat. As the outside temps are dropping the cold smoke baffle may not be needed or provide any additionally noticable chill factor; tho' on warmer days may help to keep the temp down. The Nake Whiz has a nice photo page on smoking cheese in a BGE; the process would be the same in a CS.
