JAY1924 is correct the electrics are great I've had one.

If you decide to go that route just make sure it is large enough for your needs.

I've also had several pellet cookers including a FEC100.

I've landed on a PG1000 and love it.

In addition to being a GREAT smoker it is a GREAT grill and can get really hot if needed.

I use it year round on my deck in the mountains and have had no problems.

I find it not to need a lot of pellets as well.

In any case stick with CookShack as their products and customer support are the best!
