Had My First Failure

Tried Smoking some sunflower seeds soaked in Captain Morgans. After it got up to temp and was generating smoke I heard a big poof. I remembered reading that some people experience this when seasoning there smoker so figured no big deal. Then about 5 minutes a later another big explosion sound so I Imediately shut down and said the the hell if I'm gonna screw something up over some sunflower seeds. I'm assuming it had to be the Captain igniting. Not sure why I thought this would be good and work other than I love Captain and Sunflower seeds and figured why the hell not. I think I'll stick to just drinking my Captain from now on.
