Reply to "New owner: SM045 Can you give me a rough idea how long for smoker to reach 225"

Typically 35 min for me, but longer if I’ve got 6 racks of ribs or  13 pound brisket right out of the fridge in there. Re preheating  — Cookshack is ALL about lazy. Everybody I serve loves my brisket already, so why fuss with it. Plug it in, turn it on and pull it at 202. ‘Nuff planning for me.
