I used the same grill (PG500). The first thing I was curious about was, does this grill have ceramic igniters? When I started searching for information, I found out that the igniter is a heated metal rod until it glows red and ignites pellets that automatically fall into the fire. I also encountered the same problem as you. Yes, the grill blows out a lot of ash when it starts. But you don't have to worry, because it's not critical. I've tried a lot of techniques for my small eateries. Right now, the Food Services industry is leading the way in business. That's why I went into the food service industry. Maybe I can open my restaurant someday.
