Thanks y'all for the feedback. I'm on my second Traeger in 15 years and even though I have loved my Traegers, there's a part of me that believes I have outgrown them. I've looked at Weber Smoke Fire, Pit Boss, Traeger and locally with Gator Pits and Spitts and Pitts etc for the new smoker.

It may sound a little pompus and I'm sure it is, but I don't want a smoker that anyone can just go down to Lowes or HomeDepot and buy on a whim. It's one of the main drivers that is steering me towards the FE PG500 - it looks awesome and no one around here in my BBQ circle has one. Kind of a "One Upper" if you will. I had a Traeger before Traegers were the in-thing. I'm looking for that next wow factor to help maintain my "BBQ king of the neighbourhood" status - as ridiculous as that may sound! Do you feel that the FE PG500 has that wow factor?
