Adelaide, wonderful town. Lived in Canberra for two years and traveled a lot.

When I lived there, they didn't even sell ribs. I made friends with a local butcher and gave him some ribs in exchange for helping me with a supply. Of course, I had to go in the back and carve the first hog to show him how I wanted the ribs cut...

So I'd suggest checking with the local butchers, getting to know them and maybe offering to give them some smoked meats in exchange for a good price.
