the eucalyptus oil is from the leaves NOT the wood. old timers would drop a fresh picked leaf from a tree just as the billy boiled to add spice to tea. burning wood smells noting like vicks. it smells like home to me. eucalypt woodsmoke is a wonderful smell.
i wouldn't think of smearing meat with apple or fruit if fruit trees were suggested to me. some people just like to try and be funny all the time i 'spose. but kathy you are hilarious at times.
