perhaps i sounded more offended than i was. i guess i feel im not being taken seriously. i apologise kathye for growling at you. your hand is shaken.

smokinokie. mum used to make the most delicious braise by putting some chuck steak in an oven dish with a tin of tomato soup and 1/2 tin of jam. usually plum or fig, but i remember apricot also. a splash of soy sauce. foil and into oven for a period then de foiled and cooked till reduced to a thick gravy. it was great with mashed potato and peas n pumpkin.

i have already suggested the good gum trees that i know are good for smoking!! (there are many more that i don't know of) the reason i sent the complete list was to show the variety of gum trees .(gum trees are eucalypts and easier to spell).

still, i see no one interested in having a go.
