I don't know how well SPAM turns out smoked, but I wouldn't micd trying it. My family often takes SPAM and grates it with a cheese grater, then takes English muffins, splits them in half and ligghtly butters them, then spreads the grated SPAM on top of them. Next, we cover the SPAM with grated tasty cheddar cheese. Finally, we place these under the griller until the cheese has melted and turns golden brown. These are awesome for breakfast!!! Be careful, because they don't take too long to burn. For extra flavor, you might try using smoked cheddar cheese.
