Basically injecting it with melted butter. Ran across that and it sounds interesting. Thinking of trying it, since it'll be a small group this year and they don't mind my experimenting.

Also, on a side not, have you bought your turkey yet? If you're getting a frozen one, remember it takes 4-6 days to thaw it.

Hmmm... Yeah, didn't think of the butter firming up again after being injected. And I'm naturally lazy, so I think I'll just brine again. Maybe coat the skin with Maple syrup instead of butter/oil this year.

My friends keep sending me pics of things wrapped in bacon. They seem to think I'm obsessed with bacon, but I don't actually cook that much with bacon. For a while I was thinking of being a smart-ass and making something like this. But I don't think I'd have the patience...
