This was posted on the BBQ Brethren:

From the publisher:

Callisto Media, an independent book publisher based in Berkeley, CA, is looking for an author for an electric smoker cookbook that's currently in development. The book will focus on getting the most out of your electric smoker, and the ideal author is someone with a solid knowledge base and extensive experience with this type of cooking.

This book covers everything you need to know about electric smoking, including how to use your machine (whether it was made by Masterbuilt, Char-Broil, or Bradley), how to select the best cuts of meat, how to store your smoked meat, etc. In addition to providing over 100 specific recipes, this book allows you to “smoke everything” by giving you a handy chart with cooking times and temperatures for all kind of meat, and by showing you how to smoke things you wouldn’t normally think of. No matter which of the top 3 brands of electric smoker you own, this is the only book you need to use its full potential

If you fit the qualifications listed in the above description, please PM me with your full contact info and I will put you in touch with the publisher.

Thanks!

Evidently, they only seem to have heard of the cheap electrics. Sigh...

PM me, and I can forward it on, or check the Brethren site.

OK, this is just funny. The "top three"?? I'll admit I have used, and still do at times in need where I don't have my AQ, a Masterbuilt smoker, but in no way is it in the "top three." It is not user friendly, not accurate in temperature control, and not well sealed (it leaks smoke and heat everywhere). Anyway, not a cookbook I'd be hurrying to buy. Thanks for the heads up, though, Andy.
