Off to a bad weekend. Brined 20 chicken quarters last night, rinsed them and patted them dry this morning, put my rub on them and let them sit for about 1 hour. Loaded them in my AmeriQue, set the temp to 225 and set the time to 4 hrs 30 min. All went well except the heating element does not get hot. I have checked all electrics, etc. Everything works except the heating element. Plan on talking with Tony on Monday. So much for the chickens and the 13# Choice packer I had planned on tomorrow. Any other suggestions on the heating element. Frowner
