Before I bought my Cookshack 020:

Before CS: We bought catsup in the smallest bottle and usually replaced once out of date....now we buy mega packs from Sams and consider ourselves OUT when down to one huge unopened bottle.

Before CS: BBQ get togethers always meant lots of leftovers with me asking "are you sure you don't want some of this to take home?.......now the kids ask if there are any leftovers for taking home w/o me asking.

Ditto on most of the above plus:

Before CS: We grilled at least several times a week...now we grill several times a month.

Before CS: We picked up convenient barbecue supplies driving to the local outlet...now I get weekly deliveries of the best I can find and know my UPS delivery man by his first name.

Before CS: I lived with my 25 year old set of knives...now I have a brand new set of Forschner's.

Before CS: My friends would brag on their barbecuing skills...now they seek my advise and tips.

redoakNC--Great thread. These Cookshacks are life changing aren't they? Hope we see some more interesting posts from others.
Here here! In my wonderful job, I have an expense account that allows me to eat anywhere I want and order anything that appeals to me. I have tried barbecue places all over the great state of North Carolina, including a few very expensive places that were rated high in one rating system or another. I have given up. Barbecue just doesn't get any better than what I serve (or what you serve, I'm sure) at my own home that has been perfectly done on my Cookshack Amerique!
