Orinda Smoker,

I am originally from bourbon country in Kentucky, with two distilleries with-in a long walk from home. Now, we had a drought one year and the springs dried up and some farmers didn't have the money to drill for wells and the small rivers were all that sustained the livestock. One old farmer, two farms away and his wife bought two bourbon barrels for a buck a piece, bored a hole in the top and placed them under his down spouts. What rain we got gave them drinking water and I never saw this happy couple sober again. Big Grin

Had one neighbor that bought 25 bourbon barrels and cut them into outdoor chairs. Here again problems - every time the chairs got rained on, the bourbon would penetrate your clothing and then you would be afraid to drive your car. Eeker

Now for eating food from the smoke. I don't know, but I'll pass.
