Cookshack sent me a new controller for my 025 and last night after attaching the new box I cooked 2 racks of wings. It took an hour and half for the temp to read 225. The old controller seemed to be much quicker. That has got me thinking - how long should it take to reach 225. Anybody have any thoughtts. We call cookshack on Monday. Glad I still have the old controller.

Apple - I have a Smokette 020. It generally takes 30-45 minutes to reach 225.

I know that you probably know better...but you didn't have a piece of chicken against internal probe and it is clean?
