I'm looking to do some ABT's in my Amerique and I was looking for some expert advice. So far I have done ABT's at home and just crisp up bacon on them using the grill or a griddle plate inside once they have been smoked, however, I'm looking at doing some for a work potluck and as such will be doing them on site and was hoping to avoid having to bring the smoker AND the grill... Is it possible to get good crispy bacon on an ABT in the Amerique? If so, how long and at what temp do I cook them for?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Smiler

Get a pound of thin sliced bacon and hang the strips over the racks. (Prepare for GREASE)!
Crank up the temp to MAX and check it @ 45 minutes. Continue until done. Your time will be longer on ABTs but you'll know the minimum. If it never gets crispy, take your grill. Wink

When I do MOINKS I let the precooked meatballs come up to room temp. This helps the bacon cook/crisp faster. (I use my FEC @ 300)
